Jennifer Schemke is a talented comedian who performs stand-up in various cities, including New York, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a diverse range of experience, having opened for comedian Jeff Applebaum at the Downtown Theatre in Fairfield, California, and hosting the 2017 Arty Awards, which honored theatre in Napa and Solano Counties.
Jennifer has also performed at several comedy clubs and festivals, including The Lady Laughs Comedy Festival in Wichita, Kansas, and The Belly Room @ The World Famous Comedy Store. She has honed her improv and sketch comedy skills at The Groundlings and The Second City in Los Angeles, where she wrote and performed original characters.
Jennifer has also appeared in television shows, including the ABC remake of "Dirty Dancing", where she played the role of "Esther Feinberg" and played bridge with Debra Messing and Katey Sagal. She has also guest-starred on Brandon Rogers' Magic Funhouse as "Mama Gladys" and has made frequent appearances in other Brandon Rogers productions.
Jennifer is a Bay-Area native and holds a BA and MFA in Theatre and Acting from San Francisco State and DePaul University in Chicago, and is a graduate of the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in New York City.
