Jeffrey Leiser is a multi-talented American director, producer, composer, writer, and editor who made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2019 with a selection from his works Freydís and Gudrid. As a 2018 Composer-in-Residence at the Guild Hall of East Hampton, he was also a three-time Cultural Fellow of the American Scandinavian Society/Foundation/Association.
His music has been featured at prestigious institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, where he was a featured artist in the 'Dreamlands' exhibition. He has won numerous awards, including a gold medal for best score at the Park City Film Music Festival and has released 12 albums of original music and scores.
Leiser is the founder of Set Theory Productions LLC, an affiliate of Albino Fawn Productions. Throughout his career, he has received numerous professional awards, grants, and fellowships, including Composer-in-Residence at the Guild Hall of East Hampton, Cultural Fellow of the American Scandinavian Association, and Commissioned Artist at the Wexner Center for the Arts.
His discography includes 12 albums, including Far Travelers at Guild Hall, Apocalypsis, The Summit Symphony, Time Squares, and more. He has also performed in numerous concerts, including Far Travelers, The Summit Symphony, and Select Piano Works.
