Biography

Jeffrey's journey began with a stint aboard an icebreaker in the U.S. Coast Guard, which ultimately led him to Los Angeles, where he pursued his passion for acting at the renowned Estelle Harmon Workshop. His time in Los Angeles was a mere stepping stone, as he soon made the move to New York, enrolling in the prestigious New Actors Workshop, under the guidance of the illustrious Mike Nichols and George Morrison.

As the years passed, Jeffrey honed his craft, performing in numerous Off Broadway shows and independent films. However, his creative endeavors soon took a dramatic turn, as he shifted his focus to writing and directing. This newfound passion led him to intern in the equipment room at Film and Video Arts, a move that granted him access to valuable film classes and equipment in exchange for his hard work.

Jeffrey's big break came with the production of his first short film, The Caretaker, which he co-wrote and directed alongside Nick Goulding. This critically acclaimed film made its debut at the esteemed New Filmmakers series at Anthology Film Archives in New York, a testament to Jeffrey's burgeoning talent as a writer and director.
