Norman Jeffrey "Jeff" Healey, a renowned Canadian blues and rock singer and guitarist, achieved significant fame in the United States as well. Despite being rendered blind as a child due to a rare form of eye cancer, Jeff's music career remained unimpeded.
He accomplished a notable feat by scoring a top 5 hit on the US charts with his song "Angel Eyes". Additionally, Jeff is fondly remembered for his role as Cody in the popular film "Road House".
Sadly, Jeff's life came to an end on March 2nd, 2008. During his lifetime, he was married to Christie Hall and the couple had two children together.
