Jeanette Aw, the youngest of three siblings, hails from a family with an elder brother and sister. She pursued her higher education at the prestigious National University of Singapore, where she acquired a strong foundation in her chosen field. In the early months of 2001, Jeanette made her mark in the entertainment industry by being one of the first newcomer actresses to be handpicked by the now-defunct MediaWorks. Her remarkable talent and dedication did not go unnoticed, as she went on to win not one but two prestigious awards that year, namely the "Most Popular Newcomer Award" and the "Best Performer Award".
Following her impressive debut, Jeanette was approached to co-star in a Taiwanese production, further expanding her repertoire and exposure. However, she decided to take her career to new heights by making the switch to MediaCorp in 2002, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a talented actress.
