Jaume Carrió, a native of Mallorca, was born in 1983 and went on to earn a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the prestigious CESAG/UIB.
Throughout his career, Carrió has worn two hats, that of a teacher and a filmmaker, with a passion for storytelling and creativity.
One of his most notable achievements is winning the Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2018 for his short film, "Woody & Woody".
In addition to his work as a professor of filmmaking at the CEF, "Escola d'imatge i so" in Palma, Carrió has also pursued personal audiovisual projects, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.
His latest project, "Aquells que haurien d'haurien anat a París", released in 2020, is a testament to his resourcefulness and adaptability, shot entirely on a smartphone during the coronavirus lockdown.
