By 1989, he had honed his skills to become a qualified camera operator, contributing to popular shows such as "Keeping Up Appearances" in 1990 and As Time Goes By in 1992. His expertise in camera operation was further showcased in dramas like Shadow of a Gunman in 1995, as well as the award-winning 'Traffa Tanzi', which received the RTS 'best camera' award in 1994.
As his career progressed, Jason's lighting expertise began to take shape in the realm of children's television, with notable projects such as 'Sharp' for BBC and the comedy sitcom 'Woodlane' in the mid-1990s. He soon found himself working on music promos for esteemed production companies like Globel Village and WHP, collaborating with renowned artists like Jazzy B, Real Emotion, and Glenda.
Jason's lighting design for the 'Disney's Playhouse' channel has become the international benchmark for the brand. His impressive portfolio also includes lighting some of the largest music venues in the UK, including Wembley, NEC, Docklands, and Gmax, with clients such as Walt Disney and Sony Asia. He is widely regarded as one of the leading Directors of Photography in the UK and the international documentary field, having worked on projects like 'The Masters of Evil' series for Channel 4 and drama documentaries such as Casanova in 2003 and 'Mozart's Missing' for BBC.
Jason's feature film credits include I Zombie: The Chronicles of Pain in 1998, Dead Creatures in 2001, the short Washing Day in 2003, and the forthcoming film 'Precinct'.
