Jason was born and raised in San Antonio, where his fascination with bringing characters to life began at a young age. This passion for characterization has only grown stronger over time, as he continues to find the story within each character he portrays.
Jason's high school career was marked by the guidance of key instructors who not only helped him develop a foundation for characterization but also provided valuable feedback on his technique. He consistently performed in monologue competitions, duets, and One Act Play contests, honing his craft and nurturing his passion.
As the lead in multiple community theater plays, Jason's talent caught the attention of a non-profit organization, which led to a full-time position developing skits and characters for inner-city youth. His experience in this role further refined his skills, earning him multiple awards in supporting roles in short films, commercials, and an independent film in which he played the lead role, shot entirely in his hometown of San Antonio.
Despite his passion for creating characters and sharing them with others through film, Jason finds his purpose in serving wounded service members in his full-time position. If you were to find him on a Sunday morning, you wouldn't have to look far, as he'd likely be enjoying Barbacoa Tacos with an ice-cold Big Red at the nearest breakfast taco restaurant.
