Jason Miller is a renowned American film director and screenwriter, whose professional journey began with his academic pursuits at the University of Central Arkansas. During his time at the esteemed institution, he developed a passion for filmmaking, creating numerous short films, including his award-winning thesis project, "The Whisperers", which showcased his exceptional storytelling abilities.
After graduating in 2015, Miller ventured into the world of screenwriting, optioning his low-budget sci-fi screenplay, "Chop", and subsequently shopping it around to various producers and studios. It was during this period that he collaborated with director Seth Savoy, whom he met at UCA, to co-write and produce the crime-thriller, "Echo Boomers". This project marked the beginning of a fruitful creative partnership between the two filmmakers.
Building on the success of "Echo Boomers", Miller made his feature directorial debut with the psychological horror film, "Ghosts of the Void", which was released in November 2023. This critically acclaimed film further solidified Miller's position as a talented and innovative filmmaker in the industry.
