Jasmin A Singh is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as a writer, director, and actress in the Indian entertainment industry. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Mumbai, India, Jasmin's early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts. This innate talent ultimately led her to pursue higher education in the United States, where she enrolled in the prestigious New York University's Tisch School of the Arts to hone her acting skills.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Jasmin also explored her creative side by studying Film and TV Production at the renowned University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. This dual focus on both acting and filmmaking would later serve as the foundation for her successful career.
One of Jasmin's earliest and most notable achievements as a filmmaker was her student short film, Dirge, which premiered in 2017. This critically acclaimed short film went on to make a significant impact on the global film festival circuit, with appearances at a total of seven prestigious events worldwide. Dirge's impressive awards haul included the coveted Best Screenplay award at the 512 Film Festival in Texas, as well as the Audience Choice Best Fiction Short award at the Feel The Reel International Film Festival in the United Kingdom.
