Jared was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where he would later receive his theater degree from Nassau Community College, a prestigious institution that has proudly produced notable alumni such as Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, and Steve Buscemi.
Following his academic pursuits, Jared underwent a two-year training program at H.B Studios, where he had the privilege of learning from the legendary actress and drama teacher, Uta Hagen.
Over the course of two decades, Jared enjoyed a successful theater career, which included a Broadway production of "An Enemy of the People" alongside the renowned actor, Roy Dotrice, at the esteemed Roundabout Theater.
Additionally, Jared co-starred with the talented Edie Falco in the production "Crime on Goat Island" at the Arena Rep Theater, showcasing his versatility as a performer.
Jared's first film speaking role was in the 1985 film "Prizzis Honor," where he had the opportunity to share the screen with his idol, Jack Nicholson. Although the scene featuring the two actors ultimately ended up on the editing room floor, it remains a memorable experience for Jared.
After taking a hiatus from the entertainment industry to pursue a career in the healthcare profession, Jared returned to TV and film in 2013, landing a role in the TV series "Necessary Roughness." He is thrilled to be back in the industry, surrounded by the creativity and energy that he loves.
Today, Jared resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where he continues to pursue his passion for acting and remains grateful for the opportunities that have come his way.
