Janaya Stephens, a talented individual, was born and raised in a small southwestern Ontario town. Throughout her high school years, she demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess, excelling in sports and subsequently playing varsity basketball at Laurentian University. Additionally, she pursued her academic interests by studying English and Drama at this esteemed institution. During her time at Laurentian, Stephens had the opportunity to shine on stage, starring as the iconic character "Juliet" in the school's production of Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet". This experience ignited her passion for acting, leading her to further her education at George Brown Theatre School in Toronto.
