Jan Hadzic was born on October 24, 1978, in the picturesque city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. As an actor and art director, he has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, particularly with his work on the film "Oni/Them".
Growing up in Ljubljana, Jan's passion for performing arts began to flourish during his high school years, when he started participating in school theater productions. He was a part of the acting group Carpe Diem, with whom he performed in the prestigious Slovenian Culture and Congress Centre Cankarjev Dom, taking on the leading role of Scuka in the play "Za narodov blagor". The same year, he co-hosted the graduation show of Gimnazija Ledina in Cankarjev Dom.
During his college years, Jan worked as an extra on several production sets, including the television show "Odklop" hosted by Borut Veselko, the feature film "Varuh meje" directed by Maja Weiss, as well as short films such as "46 minutes" by Matjaz Brumen, "Back in EU" by Darko Stante, and "Intimacy" by Darko Stante.
Jan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found several independent cultural societies, including Talija, Youth integration of film fans, and Cut! Production, which focused on film, commercial video projects, documentaries, and theater plays.
As an actor, Jan has taken on several notable roles, including Stanley in Ray Cooney's "Run for your Wife" and Jaka in Darko Stante's "Expectations".
After completing his education at the Faculty of Architecture, Jan received the Perspective 2009 Award for his diploma work "Multimedia Triangle Maribor 2012". He then shifted his focus to the visual side of arts, working as an Art Director for the mobile games company Razum. His work on the games "Monkey Labour" and "Dream of Pixels" earned him critical acclaim and recognition, with features on Kotaku.
Seeking new challenges, Jan returned to his first love, film, working on visual pre and post-production, as well as acting.
