Jamie Lee Curtis, a renowned actress, was born on November 22, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, to the illustrious Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, both legendary actors. This talented individual's acting career took off in 1978 when she secured the iconic role of Laurie Strode in the horror classic Halloween (1978). Her subsequent appearances in notable films such as Trading Places (1983),Perfect (1985),and A Fish Called Wanda (1988) further solidified her status as a Hollywood star.

One of her most notable roles was in the blockbuster action film True Lies (1994),for which she received a Golden Globe Award for her outstanding performance. Curtis's impressive acting career also includes appearances in Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979) and the television movie Death of a Centerfold: The Dorothy Stratten Story (1981),in which she played the title role.

In addition to her acting accomplishments, Curtis made her mark in television with her starring role opposite Richard Lewis in the ABC situation comedy Anything But Love (1989).
