Biography

Jamie Chung was born and raised in California, the daughter of Korean parents who instilled in her a strong sense of cultural identity and values that would shape her future endeavors.

She pursued her academic interests by studying Economics at the University of California, Riverside, where she developed a solid foundation in mathematical and analytical skills that would serve her well in her subsequent career choices.

In 2004, a chance encounter at a sports bar would change the trajectory of her life forever. MTV was holding auditions for The Real World, a popular reality television series, and Chung seized the opportunity to try out. Her audacity and charisma ultimately earned her a spot on the show's fourteenth season, set in San Diego.

This breakthrough experience laid the groundwork for a successful acting career, which Chung would go on to launch with a small but significant role in the critically acclaimed television series Veronica Mars. Her subsequent appearances in other TV shows, such as Days of Our Lives and Greek, further solidified her reputation as a talented and versatile actress.

As her star continued to rise, Chung made the transition to feature films, landing roles in a wide range of projects, including the horror movie Sorority Row, the fantasy epic Sucker Punch, and the comedy hit The Hangover Part II. Through her diverse body of work, Chung has established herself as a talented and accomplished actress, capable of captivating audiences in a variety of genres and mediums.
