Jami Harris made her professional theatre debut at the tender age of 13, captivating audiences with her spirited portrayal of a spunky bunny in a regional production of The Wind in the Willows. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for acting, as she continued to hone her craft in local community theatre and professional productions throughout her childhood in South Carolina.
As she entered adulthood, Jami's focus shifted to the world of film, where she landed the female lead in the independent feature film The Death of Kevin Frye, shot on location in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 2009. Since then, she has amassed an impressive resume, boasting principal roles in over 30 films, as well as numerous commercials, music videos, and industrial videos.
In addition to her on-screen endeavors, Jami has also lent her talents to various other projects. She serves as the spokesmodel for Quantus Creative in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has appeared in a series of web videos for US Cellular. One of her most notable roles to date was that of the runaway Lindsey in the feature film "Pawn's Move," which received a Dove seal of approval and is distributed through multiple retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, and Netflix.
Beyond her acting career, Jami is also deeply committed to giving back to her community. She serves on the boards of two not-for-profit organizations, and has recently explored her creative side by attempting her hand at screenwriting. Her first screenplay, The Last Gift, which she co-wrote with Chad Henninger, was shot on location in McAlester, Oklahoma, in November 2012. She is currently working on a new screenplay (as of June 2013) that will be produced in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
