As he embarks on this new chapter of his life, Staley is surrounded by loved ones, actively involved with his two sons and their families. In 2018, he and his wife Barbara celebrated a remarkable milestone - their 50th wedding anniversary - in style, by hiking through the picturesque landscapes of Italy.

When not indulging in family time or exploring the great outdoors, Staley's passions include spending quality time with his two grandsons, as well as embarking on thrilling adventures in the form of hiking excursions. His impressive repertoire of hiking destinations includes the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, the Swiss Alps, the UK, and a particularly memorable seven-day trek through the Andes to the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu in Peru.
