Biography

James Marshall's journey to stardom began with his high school graduation from Davis High School, where he laid the foundation for his future in the performing arts. His thirst for knowledge led him to attend prestigious institutions such as Juilliard, the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and the American Conservatory Theatre. After a decade of honing his craft on stage, James made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, driven by his ambition to transition into the world of film and television.

The next decade was a series of guest appearances, with James diligently working to make a name for himself in the industry. However, it was his breakout role as Spike in the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997 that truly catapulted him to stardom. Initially, Spike was intended to be a fleeting character, but James's captivating performance and undeniable charm won over audiences, leading to his promotion to a regular cast member.

Following the conclusion of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, James reprised his role as Spike in the spin-off series Angel in 1999, cementing his status as a fan favorite. His impressive resume also boasts a string of movie appearances. But James is not just a talented thespian; he is also a skilled musician. His band, Ghost of the Robot, released their debut album, Mad Brilliant, in 2003, showcasing James's versatility and artistic range.
