Biography

Born in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, Ernie Lesure's journey began in the esteemed Air Force Academy, where he honed his skills before pursuing his passion for theater at the University of Southern California. During his time at USC, Lesure not only earned his bachelor's degree in theater but also expanded his horizons by studying abroad at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. This enriching experience allowed him to tread the boards in productions such as Hair and The Island, as well as fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming an amateur boxer.

Lesure's impressive theater credentials continued as he joined a professional theater company in Los Angeles, where he brought the iconic role of Macduff to life in William Shakespeare's Macbeth.

As Lesure transitioned to the world of television, he made his series debut on the comedy For Your Love, starring alongside the talented Holly Robinson-Peete. His recurring roles on The New Adventures of Old Christine, Lipstick Jungle, The Division, and Alias showcased his versatility as a performer. Additionally, he made memorable guest appearances on Lost, Sherri, and Seinfeld, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.

On the big screen, Lesure has appeared in a range of independent films, as well as high-profile features such as The Ring 2, Our Family Wedding, and Crimson Tide, alongside industry heavyweights Naomi Watts, America Ferrera, Denzel Washington, and Gene Hackman.

Lesure's outstanding performance in Las Vegas earned him a 2006 MIB Prism Award for Outstanding Male Actor in a TV Drama.
