James Burleson's early life was marked by frequent moves due to his father's military service, with the family relocating every four years to places such as England, Missouri, Texas, and Louisiana.
As a child, James had a clear vision of his future, declaring at the tender age of five that he was destined to become a screen actor.
In 2003, James took the bold step of enlisting in the United States Air Force, where he spent four years on active duty and another four years in the reserves.
During his military service, James honed his skills in various specialties, including ground radio communications, nondestructive inspection, instructor-led training, corporate training management, instructional designing, curriculum development, and technical writing.
These skills allowed him to work on a wide range of aircraft, including the F-16, F-15, C-17, C-5, and KC-135.
James' military service was marked by several notable achievements, including being named Airman of the Year at Altus AFB and receiving the honor of Senior Airman Below The Zone.
He also received the Competent Communicator Award from Toastmasters International, a testament to his exceptional communication skills.
After completing his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Wayland Baptist University in August 2007, James continued to work full-time in the military while pursuing his degree.
He went on to earn his Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University in December 2014.
In 2011, James made the difficult decision not to reenlist in the USAF, opting instead to focus solely on his film acting career.
Since then, James has taken advantage of numerous acting opportunities, using his unique ability to connect with audiences to bring characters to life.
He has honed his craft through numerous acting workshops, studying and analyzing interpretations from renowned instructors and professionals.
When not acting, James can be found indulging in his love of Italian food or surrounded by his favorite color, blue.
