James Brandon, a highly trained and accomplished actor, began his journey at the esteemed Oxford University Conservatory program, where he had the privilege of learning from and working alongside renowned teachers and actors such as Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, and Juliet Stevenson, among others.
As a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Repertory Company, Brandon has an impressive array of theatre credits, spanning regional theatre to international tours. His most notable role to date is that of the lead in the critically acclaimed revival of Terrence McNally's play Corpus Christi, which earned him widespread critical acclaim and has continued to tour, with a documentary film about the play's release.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Brandon has also been involved in various producing and mentoring capacities. He served as a Producer and Acting Mentor for the Will Power to Youth program with Shakespeare Festival/LA, a nationally recognized youth arts initiative that empowers inner-city youth to create, produce, and perform their original adaptations of Shakespeare plays.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Brandon is also an accomplished producer, having created and collaborated with members of renowned groups such as Cirque du Soleil, String Theory, Mutaytor, Cabaret Voltaire, and more, on various theatrical events throughout the city.
