James Babson, a highly accomplished individual, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the esteemed Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.
Following his graduation, James immersed himself in the vibrant downtown theatre scene in New York City, collaborating on innovative devised theatre pieces at NADA, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Circle Rep East. His impressive work in this realm culminated in the North American Premiere of "After the Rain" Off-Broadway.
James then embarked on an international journey, relocating to Prague, where he honed his skills in the film industry. Notable credits from this period include appearances in "Hellboy", "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", Roman Polanski's "Oliver Twist", and a memorable portrayal of Rudolf Hess in the CBS mini-series "The Rise of Evil".
After spending 16 years in Los Angeles, James has continued to excel in film, television, and voiceover. His recent credits include guest appearances on "Criminal Minds", "9-1-1", "Timeless", "I Think You Should Leave", and a recurring role as Michael on the critically acclaimed "Transparent".
Today, James resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to pursue his passion for the arts.
