James' musical journey commenced at the tender age of four, when he first laid fingers on the piano keys. This early introduction granted him unparalleled access to the crème de la crème of blues and jazz legends, allowing him to absorb the philosophies and technical mastery of these maestros firsthand. As he continued to hone his craft, James developed a distinctive compositional style, which he showcased through solo performances and collaborations with various bands. These ensembles have had the privilege of gracing stages ranging from colossal venues accommodating crowds of over 40,000 to cozy, intimate clubs.
As a multifaceted talent in the entertainment industry, James' early twenties were marked by his tenure as Vice-President of Productions for L&L Productions. During this period, he assumed the roles of producer, session player, and innovator, working on music and television projects, as well as pioneering the concept of music videos for broadcast. As a SAG member since 1993, James has accumulated an impressive array of experience in film and television acting. Under the guidance of the late, great Cliff Osmond, a renowned acting coach, James honed his craft during the early nineties. He brings a wealth of life experience to each character he portrays, infusing them with a depth and authenticity that is simply captivating. In addition to his acting pursuits, James has also worked as a composer, director, producer, and post-production supervisor on numerous projects, consistently demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in the entertainment industry.
