Jamaal, a talented Toronto-based actor, hails from Calgary, Alberta, and has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry through his numerous appearances in TV commercials and a wide range of Canadian and U.S. television shows.
Some of his most notable roles include those in Lost Girl, An Officer & A Murderer, The Jon Dore Show, Dan for Mayor, Nikita, InSecurity, Good God, and Gangland Undercover.
Jamaal's academic background is impressive, having graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Windsor. His academic achievements were recognized with several scholarships, including the prestigious Frances Hyland Award, which is granted to the applicant with the best overall entry audition.
In addition to his university education, Jamaal continued his studies at the Pro Actors Lab and the Second City's training program, where he was a scholarship recipient.
