Biography

Person Biography:

Jake was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where he initially discovered his passion for acting after being encouraged by one of his teachers to participate in local projects. This sparked a journey that would take him from performing in commercials to landing his first high-profile role at the tender age of eleven.

As he grew older, Jake and his family made the bold move down to Hollywood, where he continued to hone his craft. His early credits include notable roles in television shows such as Once And Again, The Closer, and Veronica Mars, as well as appearances in films like SKY HIGH, starring Kurt Russell and Michael Angarano.

Throughout his early twenties, Jake demonstrated his versatility as an actor by taking on a range of roles. He starred alongside esteemed actors like Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow on NBC's Twenty Good Years, and showcased his comedic chops in films like Extreme Movie, Fired Up, and the 2010 hit EASY A.

Jake's most recent project, A Bag Of Hammers, marks a significant milestone in his career. Not only did he co-write the film with writer/director Brian Crano, but he also stars alongside him as Alan, one half of a lovable but misfit duo who embark on a poignant journey of self-discovery. The film premiered at the 2011 South by Southwest festival, solidifying Jake's status as a talented and innovative actor.
