Jake Guy was born in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, to Nicola and Randy Guy, and is predominantly of Irish ancestry. His introduction to acting began with a memorable performance as a British wolf in an elementary school Christmas play. However, it was during his high school years that he discovered his true passion for acting. His drama teachers created a role for him in their production of the musical "Grease", casting him as a non-greaser due to his young age at the time. He went on to play lead roles in all the musicals they produced, graduating as "Usnavi" in Brookswod's production of "In the Heights". Simultaneously, he was an active member of the school's esteemed film and television program, collaborating with his friends to enter local contests and winning several awards at the BC Student Film Festival.
As he progressed through high school, Jake began auditioning in and around Vancouver, eventually securing his first small role in a western TV movie starring Luke Perry. Following his graduation from Brookswood Secondary School, Jake continued to pursue a professional acting career, quickly landing his first role in the CW's Supernatural. Shortly thereafter, he secured a role in the CW's iZOMBIE.
Today, Jake resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
