John Joseph Wardle, professionally known as Jah Wobble, is a multifaceted English artist, boasting an impressive array of skills including bass guitar playing, singing, poetry, and composition.
John Wardle's journey began in 1973 at Kingsway College, London, where he crossed paths with fellow future icons John Lydon, John Grey, and Sid Vicious. It was the latter who affectionately bestowed upon John the moniker "Jah Wobble" following a particularly rowdy drinking session, and would later lend him his initial bass guitar.
Throughout his illustrious career, Jah Wobble has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of esteemed artists, including Public Image Ltd, African Head Charge, The Invaders of the Heart, and Holger Czukay, to name but a few.
