Biography

Jacquin Deleon, a creative force to be reckoned with, was born in Camden, New Jersey, to a dynamic duo of an African American mother and a third-generation Cuban father. His journey began with a stellar high school education, paving the way for his acceptance into Temple University's broadcasting program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

While honing his skills at Temple, DeLeon didn't shy away from exploring his passion for screenwriting, taking classes and even shooting student films. His first short film, "Nameless," was a milestone achievement, released in 2012. With the support of friends and family, he was able to secure the talents of notable actors Quinton Aaron, known for his role in "The Blind Side," and Brandon Fobbs, a star from "The Wire."

Fast-forward to 2014, and DeLeon's first feature film, "A Girl Like Grace," was finally a reality.
