Jacques Saulnier

Jacques Saulnier, a renowned production designer and art director, entered the world on September 8, 1928, in the culturally rich city of Paris, France. Throughout his illustrious career, he made significant contributions to the film industry, leaving an indelible mark on the world of cinema. Two of his most notable works include the critically acclaimed film "Last Year at Marienbad" (1961),as well as the visually stunning "Swann in Love" (1984) and "Smoking/No Smoking" (1993). Jacques Saulnier's dedication to his craft and his passion for storytelling continue to inspire generations of artists and filmmakers. Unfortunately, he left us too soon, passing away on November 9, 2014, in the city that will always be his home, Paris, France.
