Biography

Jackie Oudney is a multifaceted and accomplished film and commercials director, hailing from Dundee, Scotland, where she was born and raised.

Her educational background is marked by a strong foundation in the performing arts, having studied Stage Management at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, and later honing her skills in camera work at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in London.

Throughout her illustrious career, Jackie has directed an impressive array of over 30 commercials, garnering numerous prestigious international awards, including a coveted Silver Lion at the Cannes Film Festival and a silver D&AD pencil.

In addition to her commercial success, Jackie has also directed two award-winning short films, and has recently completed her first feature-length film, "French Film".

The film, produced by Slingshot, is based on a script by acclaimed writer Aschlin Ditta and boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring the talents of Hugh Bonneville, Eric Cantona, Anne-Marie Duff, Victoria Hamilton, and Douglas Henshall.

"French Film" premiered in the UK on May 15, 2009, marking a significant milestone in Jackie's illustrious career as a film and commercials director.
