Jack Higgins

Jack Higgins, a renowned British writer, came into this world on July 27, 1929, in the bustling city of Newcastle-on-Tyne, located in the northeastern region of England, United Kingdom. Throughout his illustrious career, Higgins gained widespread recognition for his captivating literary works, including the iconic novel "The Eagle Has Landed" published in 1976, "A Prayer for the Dying" released in 1987, and the gripping "The Violent Enemy" which hit the shelves in 1967. In his personal life, Higgins was married twice, first to Denise Palmer and later to Amy Hewitt. Sadly, his life came to a close on April 9, 2022, in Jersey, Channel Islands, a picturesque island situated off the coast of Normandy, France, and part of the United Kingdom.
