Jack Curtis, the son of Jack Curtis Sr., a renowned agent from Rose & Curtis, and Mabel Ford, a talented Vaudeville star, was born and raised in the vibrant borough of Queens, New York. Despite being born with a unique condition, where his hand had been wrapped in his mother's umbilical cord, causing it to form improperly, Jack's life was filled with music and laughter. He was a skilled pianist, with a wonderful sense of humor, often making witty remarks and playing with words. His remarkable voice was featured in several iconic cartoons, including Speed Racer, Marine Boy, and Kimba the White Lion.
In addition to his voice-over work, Jack also ventured into filmmaking, directing, shooting, and editing the 1964 film The Flesh Eaters under a pseudonym, due to his non-union status and desire to avoid trouble. However, his true passion lay in editing, and he established a company called FilmSync, specializing in dubbing and post-production services. Tragically, Jack left behind a 5-year-old daughter, Liane, and his loving wife, Paulette Rubinstein.
