Iyad Hajjaj is a multi-award winning actor and filmmaker, renowned for his exceptional talent and versatility in the entertainment industry. As the founder and executive director of MISSING PEACE PICTURES, Inc., a production company dedicated to creating thought-provoking and impactful films, and president of the non-profit organization I CAME FOR PEACE, Iyad is driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to promote peace and understanding.
Iyad is currently developing a home invasion action/thriller feature film, TEN and A HALF MINUTES, based on a true story, which is sure to captivate audiences worldwide. His most recent project, the multi-award winning film DREAMS I NEVER HAD, saw him take on the roles of producer, director, and star, alongside Hollywood celebrities Malcolm McDowell and Robin Givens.
In addition to his work in front of the camera, Iyad has also worked as a cultural advisor on several major films and TV shows, collaborating closely with Hollywood executive producers and directors. His extensive and diverse filmography boasts over 95 acting credits, with recent notable roles including recurring appearances on Marvel's limited series Ms. Marvel, a podcast series called The Weird, a South Korean film titled The Point Men, and a feature film for HBO, among many others.
As an actor, Iyad has had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, from TV shows such as Showtime's Black Monday, NBC's Will and Grace, USA's Shooter, CBS's Madam Secretary, and FOX's Touch, to feature films like The Wizard, starring Jon Voight. When not on set, Iyad enjoys a variety of hobbies, including karate, horseback riding, hiking, colored pencil drawing, soccer, and singing in Arabic. He is also an Arab folk dance instructor and speaks fluent Arabic, with proficiency in Hebrew and Spanish.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Iyad has a background in physical therapy, having graduated from Bethlehem University with a degree in physical therapy. He is also certified as a behavioral therapist and has worked with individuals with physical and developmental challenges, an experience that has only deepened his appreciation for life.
