Ivo Bresan

Ivo Bresan, a renowned writer, entered this world on May 27, 1936, in the picturesque town of Vodice, situated in the vicinity of Sibenik, Croatia, which was then part of Yugoslavia. This talented literary figure gained widespread recognition for his work in the realm of acting, particularly in the 1973 production of "Acting Hamlet in the Village of Mrdusa Donja", as well as his notable contributions to the 1976 film "The Rat Savior" and the 1986 novel "Obecana zemlja". Throughout his life, Ivo Bresan was blessed with a loving companion, Jela Godlar Bresan, whom he shared a deep and abiding love with. Tragically, his life came to a close on January 3, 2017, in the bustling city of Zagreb, Croatia.
