Upon completing her secondary education, Iva embarked on a journey to further her education at AGRFT. Her academic pursuits were marked by several notable performances, including her debut in Curek krvi, an A. Artaud production.
In her third year, Iva received the esteemed Sever Award for her outstanding performance in Cid. This recognition was a testament to her burgeoning talent, and she went on to land various roles in both theatre and television series.
One of her most memorable performances was that of Simon in the 2002 production of Guardian of the Frontier. This role not only showcased her remarkable acting abilities but also earned her the prestigious Vesna Award for Best Female Performance.
