Iskra, a talented Bulgarian actress, embarked on an educational journey that spanned across the Atlantic Ocean, earning her Master's degree in broadcast journalism from the esteemed Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Her academic pursuits were made possible by a prestigious Fulbright scholarship, which enabled her to relocate to the United States and immerse herself in the world of broadcast journalism.
Prior to her academic endeavors, Iskra had already laid the foundation for her future success by completing her Bachelor's degree in acting at the renowned Bulgarian National Film and Theatre Academy. This rigorous training laid the groundwork for her future roles in television, theatre, and film.
Upon completing her studies, Iskra landed a job at CBS, specifically with "The Early Show," where she worked for a year, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience in the television industry.
Despite her success in the States, Iskra's roots remain firmly planted in her native Bulgaria, where she currently resides in Sofia, continuing to work as a host and actress in television, theatre, and film.
