Isela Vega, a stunning beauty, was born on November 5, 1939, in the vibrant city of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Her regal presence earned her the esteemed title of Princess of the 1957 Carnaval in Hermosillo, catapulting her into a career as a model. Prior to her acting debut, she enjoyed moderate success as a singer, with her composition "Bennie's Song" being featured in the iconic film Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974),showcasing her remarkable vocal talents.

Vega's acting career began with small roles in Mexican films during the early 1960s, gradually growing in popularity as a sex symbol in the late 1960s. Her versatility as an actress was showcased in a variety of mediums, including Mexican films, television shows, stage appearances, and foreign films. Notably, she received a Best Actress Ariel Award nomination for her role in Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974),as well as a previous nomination for her performance in Las reglas del juego (1971).

Vega made her United States film debut in The Deadly Trackers (1973) and continued to appear in small parts in American films and television until the late 1990s. In addition to her acting accomplishments, Vega is also a talented producer, writer, and director. In her personal life, Vega is the mother of two children: a son whose father is Alberto Vázquez, and a daughter, Shaula, who is also an actress and whose father is Jorge Luke.
