Isabella was born in Hungary and spent her childhood in a single-parent household, which she often found to be an unhappy and unfulfilling experience. To cope with the difficulties of her early life, she developed a unique coping mechanism - she would regularly put on solo comedy acts for her friends and family, as well as craft spooky tales that would send shivers down the spines of those around her.
In addition to her creative outlets, Isabella also struggled with an inability to sit still, which she discovered was a symptom of her ADHD. To channel her excess energy, she turned to competitive gymnastics and dance, becoming an accomplished athlete in both fields.
As she entered her late teens, Isabella made the bold decision to leave her hometown and move to New York City to pursue a career in acting. She enrolled in The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, where she honed her craft and gained valuable experience on stage.
However, it was during her first movie set that Isabella discovered her true calling - screenwriting. When the director of the film asked for her input on a scene, she was thrilled to find that she had a natural talent for storytelling. This epiphany marked a turning point in her career, and she soon found herself moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting.
In LA, Isabella attended The Groundlings and Second City, where she refined her skills as a writer and performer. She also formed a sketch group with a talented group of actors and writers, which provided her with valuable experience and exposure.
Before long, Isabella was hired to develop comedy pilots for an independent producer, and she also submitted a feature screenplay that caught the attention of A-list producer Brannon Braga. She was subsequently hired as his personal writer's assistant, a role that provided her with invaluable experience and insight into the film industry.
After taking a few years off to raise her two young children, Isabella returned to her writing career in 2018. Since then, she has garnered an impressive array of accolades, including over 50 screenplay contest wins in just three years. Her unique gift lies in her ability to craft high-concept stories that often feature teenage protagonists struggling to survive in extreme situations.
