As a director and writer, she has left an indelible mark on the film industry, with her most notable works including the 1985 masterpiece "Die Frauen des 20. Juli", the 1983 film "Bomben auf Berlin - Leben zwischen Furcht und Hoffnung", and the 1987 production "Berlin unterm Hakenkreuz".
