Irfan Shamji embarked on a transformative journey at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he honed his craft between 2014 and 2017. Since then, he has had the privilege of gracing the stages of renowned London theatres, including the esteemed Royal Court Theatre and the Almeida Theatre.
One of his most notable performances was as Laertes in Hamlet, opposite the acclaimed Tom Hiddleston, under the direction of the illustrious Kenneth Branagh.
In addition to his work on stage, Irfan has also made a significant impact in the world of film and television, appearing in a diverse range of projects, including the BBC production of Informer, the Netflix original series Dark Crystal, and the Sky Arts production It's Me, Sugar.
Born on August 4th, 1994, in Lusaka, Zambia, Irfan Shamji is a proud individual with a rich cultural heritage, boasting Indian, Zambian, and Greek roots. As a British citizen, he has made West London his home for the majority of his life.
