Ion Overman is a renowned actress, recognized for her captivating performances in various television shows and films. Notably, she portrays Det. Ruiz alongside Jeremy Piven and Richard T. Jones in the CBS series "Wisdom of the Crowd".

Ion is particularly famous for her portrayal of Linda, the manipulative and corrupt fiancée of Josh (Derek Luke),in Tyler Perry's blockbuster movie "Madea Goes to Jail", which garnered over $90 million at the box office.
