Ingrid's early life in Vancouver, Canada, was marked by a fascination with the film industry, thanks to her father's profession as a Picture Car Coordinator. This exposure led her to begin acting at the tender age of seven, when she joined Premiere Talent and continued to work on-camera until the age of eleven.
During this period, she landed roles in several notable projects, including Space Channel's "The Collector" and Evolution Picture's "11:11", as well as appearing in various commercials. Although her film and television work was temporarily put on hold, she remained actively involved in the world of theater, attending Langley Fine Arts School, where she honed her skills in stage theater, improvisation, and musical theater on a daily basis.
In a surprising career shift, Ingrid pursued a degree in civil engineering from the University of Victoria, graduating with honors in mathematics and statistics. Even during this time, she continued to collaborate with her friends in the arts program, creating short films and further developing her acting abilities.
After completing her degree, Ingrid re-signed with Trudy Aronson of Premiere Talent and resumed her acting career. She has since expanded her range with the help of acting coaches Jeb Beach & Associates and private coaching from David Allan Pearson.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Ingrid is a multifaceted individual with a wide range of interests and talents. She is a competitive soccer player, a world champion horseback rider, and a project manager in high-rise construction. When she is not busy with these pursuits, she enjoys spending time on the water wake-surfing, working out at the gym, or perfecting her golf game.
