Indica Elizabeth Watson was born in London, England, where her journey in the world of entertainment began.
Her debut television appearance was in the second series of The Missing, a 2014 series that aired in 2016. In 2017, she played the young Eurus Holmes opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in the series 4 finale of Sherlock, a 2010 series that captivated audiences worldwide.
In 2018, Indica appeared in Deep State alongside Mark Strong and Joe Dempsie. Her debut performance in a leading role came in the psychological horror film Martyrs Lane in 2019, which was closely followed by another leading role in the short drama Nurtured in the same year.
Autumn 2019 saw her feature in a new BBC drama series, Gold Digger, alongside Julia Ormond and Ben Barnes. Indica's first appearance in a feature film was playing Irène Curie in Radioactive, a 2019 film starring Rosamund Pike as Marie Curie.
In 2021, Indica again appeared alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy in the feature film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, marking the second time she has played Cumberbatch's younger sister. The year ended with A Boy Called Christmas, in which she played the young elf Little Noosh in the acclaimed adaptation of Matt Haig's origin story of Father Christmas.
Robert Graves biopic The Laureate followed in 2022, featuring British actors Tom Hughes and Laura Haddock, with Indica as their daughter Catherine and Dianna Agron as their beguiling house guest.
Summer 2022 saw the release of The Midwich Cuckoos, David Farr's adaptation of John Wyndham's classic 1957 novel, in which Indica portrayed the sinister Evie Stone alongside Keeley Hawes and Synnove Karlsen.
A concert by legendary punk band The Damned, filmed at the London Palladium, The Damned: Night of a Thousand Vampires, followed in October 2022, with Indica featured on two songs.
Female-led action drama series Who Is Erin Carter? was released on Netflix in August 2023, with Indica starring alongside Evin Ahmad, Sean Teale, and Douglas Henshall. The series was a big success, topping the Netflix Global Top 10 chart and reaching number one in 82 countries.
