Iliana's early life began with a brief trip to Santa Barbara, California, where she was spotted by a modeling agent at the age of 15. She returned to San Francisco and started modeling for runway and department stores, utilizing her Puerto Rican/German heritage and fluency in Spanish. Education was a priority for her mother, a proud graduate of the University of Puerto Rico with a Master's degree in chemistry. Iliana attended the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in psychology and Spanish literature, and joined the University Dance Company to satisfy her creative needs.
After a brief hiatus from school, Iliana got married, moved to Los Angeles, became a stepmother, and gave birth to a daughter. She later divorced and raised her daughter as a single mother, eventually graduating from U.C. Berkeley in 1999.
Iliana's modeling career took off, with appearances on Baywatch, V.I.P., Pacific Blues, Moesha, and various music videos and commercials. She also modeled for Italian Maxim and Max, as well as Maxmara runway shows, and was featured on the Playboy.com website as a "Cybergirl" in 2003.
She has since starred in the 2004 film "Blind Passion," which aired on Showtime/TMC, and had supporting roles in the Lorenzo Lamas movie "Latin Dragon" and "Sunstorm" starring Bo Derek.
Iliana has made numerous appearances on Latino TV channel 62 out of L.A., featuring an interview and promoting her calendar/website. She has also modeled for A-Jeans clothing line and appeared on the Tyra Banks Show.
In 2005, Iliana was a featured guest of the Las Vegas exotic adventure stage show "X Show" at the Aladdin and Lake Tahoe's Hotel Harvey's. She has also appeared on TMZ television and TMZ.com, and promotes her first Latin/English crossover CD "Caliente," which has songs available on iTunes and other major online stores.
Iliana has made live singing appearances at clubs and events in Hollywood to promote "Caliente." In 2009, she appeared in various episodes of TWO major network TV series: "Sons of Anarchy" (FX Network) and "The Starter Wife" (USA Network).
In 2009, Iliana was signed as the first and exclusive American spokesmodel for an Italian clothing line called "Gianneli Casual Luxury Clothing." She has also launched her own brand new all-natural moisturizing mineral-based line of animal-friendly cosmetics and brushes called "I.C." (Iliana Cosmetics).
Iliana has been published in many top celebrity articles and websites, and has made red-carpet appearances to promote her most current projects and to help raise awareness to worthy causes. She believes in infinite possibilities and says that her most pressing challenge is finding the time to do all that she is doing and get enough beauty-sleep too!
