Ian Lyons, a self-proclaimed movie enthusiast, was destined to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Prior to transitioning to on-camera roles, Ian spent time working behind the scenes as a production assistant on several notable television shows, including "Scrubs," "Party Of Five," "All That," "The Amanda Show," and "Sabrina The Teenage Witch." However, he soon realized that his true calling lay on the other side of the camera.
With his unwavering dedication to love and life, Ian cherishes the time he spends with his loving wife of over 27 years, his two remarkable sons, and his two dogs and two cats. He considers himself the luckiest individual in the world.
Following two open-heart surgeries, Ian's heart remains as passionate as ever, and he is eager to continue his acting career. He attributes his most treasured on-set experiences to acting alongside David Hyde Pierce, as his twin, and Sarah Lancashire, as her brother-in-law, in the HBO series "Julia." He also recalls his thrilling confrontation opposite Robert Downey Jr. in "The Judge."
