Hunter Page-Lochard, an Australian actor of mixed heritage, boasting both Aboriginal Australian and North American ancestry, made his feature film debut in Rachel Perkins' critically acclaimed film, Bran Nue Dae, which garnered numerous awards in 2010.
He further solidified his acting credentials by appearing in Wayne Blair's The Sapphires, screened in Official Selection at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, showcasing his remarkable talent to a global audience.
Page-Lochard took center stage as the lead in Sarah Spillane's feature film, Around the Block, alongside the renowned Christina Ricci, which premiered at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival in 2013.
In 2015, he made his mark once more by attending the Toronto International Film Festival for Stephen Page's feature film debut, Spear, produced by Robert Connelly and John Harvey.
Throughout his career, Hunter has also showcased his versatility by appearing in numerous short films, including Adrian Wills' Arcadia, Wayne Blair's Black Talk, and The Djarn Djarns, which won the Crystal Bear Award for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2005.
In addition to his film work, Hunter has made notable guest appearances on television shows such as Water Rats, East West 101, directed by Peter Andrikidis, and ABC's Soul Mates in 2014.
Page-Lochard is set to take on the lead role in Wayne Blair and Leah Purcell's upcoming genre series, Cleverman, produced by Goalpost Pictures and Pukeko Pictures, alongside an impressive cast, including Iain Glen, Frances O'Connor, Stef Dawson, and Ryan Corr, slated for release in 2016.
