At the 13th Film Festival of Three Continents in Nantes, France, a special exhibition was held to retrospect the remarkable career of HSU Feng, a renowned figure in the Asian film industry. To encourage aspiring talents and new waves in the industry, the festival introduced the "Hsu Feng Award".
In the late summer of 1992, the Film Society of Lincoln Center at the Walter Reade Theater in New York hosted "Warrior Woman: The Films of Hsu Feng", a tribute to her tenacity, passion, and achievements in the motion picture industry. This honor marked a significant milestone, as HSU Feng became the first Chinese individual to receive a special tribute at the esteemed Lincoln Center.
Later that year, in October 1992, HSU Feng was awarded the International Communication Award by the Taiwan Bureau of News and Media for her outstanding contributions to elevating the status of Chinese-produced films in the international arena.
At the 51st Cannes Film Festival in 1998, HSU Feng was recognized as an Outstanding Producer, honored for her remarkable work in the film industry.
In November 2017, HSU Feng received a lifetime achievement award at the 54th Golden Horse Award in Taipei, acknowledging her achievements in film acting and production, as well as her contributions to Chinese Classic Film restoration.
Throughout her illustrious career, HSU Feng has held various esteemed positions, including serving as a member of the Jury at the Berlin International Film Festival Main Competition in 1994, the Venice International Film Festival Main Competition in 2004, and the Chairman of the Jury at the 6th FIRST International Film Festival in China in 2012.
