Hoyt Christopher's journey began after graduating from De La Salle high school, where he was recruited to play water polo at The University of Southern California.
Majoring in Business, Hoyt found himself in front of a camera more frequently as time went on, eventually being scouted and signed by LA Models.
He starred in several student films and, after graduation, began working for MTV Networks as a casting director and segment producer.
Hoyt landed his first Network TV spot as the host of McDonald's "Shuffle Board 55" on MTV.
Over the next eight years, he traveled the world hosting over six shows for E! Entertainment's "Wild On".
He also hosted the one-hour music video, nightlife, fashion, and extreme sports show "Makin' Noise" for KTLA, which was the highest-rated show in its time slot.
Additionally, Hoyt hosted the entertainment news magazine show "Us Weekly" and then moved to Vegas, where he hosted both "Ultimate Poker-Vegas-LA" and the one-hour Las Vegas entertainment news show "Action Vegas".
Currently, Hoyt is the co-host of "Makin Love Happen", a relationship talk show to help women with author and host Lou Paget for the WENetwork.
He is also working on another project, "Mode", a rich man's travel, lifestyle, and mojo show.
As an actor, Hoyt was a recurring character on "Days of Our Lives", a lead in a series for VH-1 called "Red Eye", and was cast as Kyle, the confident New York entertainment news host for an independent film titled "Gratuitous Violence".
He recently guest-starred in the new hit series "The Nine" on ABC, playing the role of Josh, the host of the Good Morning Los Angeles television talk show.
Hoyt is currently writing his first book, titled "Sweetness is Her Weakness", a "Hip" self-help book for men on how to improve their relationships with women.
When not working, Hoyt resides in Los Angeles and engages in various hobbies, including training for triathlons, rock climbing, baking desserts for his candy company "ManMade Desserts", and writing.
