Skora, a Los Angeles-based playwright, has made a significant impact in the world of theater with his thought-provoking and humorous plays. His debut play, "Miserable With An Ocean View", premiered on June 6th, 2015, at the renowned Whitefire Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Directed by the talented Jim Fall, this play was met with immense success, running for a remarkable five sold-out months and garnering a plethora of 5-star reviews. This achievement placed "Miserable With An Ocean View" at the top of the list as the "Top Rated Original Comedy" in Los Angeles.
Skora's subsequent play, "Damaged Furniture", also directed by Jim Fall, premiered on March 24th, 2018, at the same esteemed venue. This production continued the playwright's streak of success, running for six sold-out months and receiving widespread critical acclaim, including multiple 5-star reviews. The play was hailed as "The Top Rated Original Comedy" and is now set to make its way to Off-Broadway in 2019.
To make this transition a reality, Skora and his cast are currently running a Kickstarter campaign, titled "Damaged Furniture: The Dysfunctional Comedy Bound for NYC!", from October 8th, 2018, to November 8th, 2018.
