Here is the biography of Herman Cornejo:

Born in Argentina, Herman Cornejo is a celebrated dancer of our time. He began his studies at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires at the age of 9. At 14, he received a scholarship from the School of American Ballet and was invited to join the Ballet Argentino, where he performed alongside Julio Bocca during the company's world tour.

At 16, Cornejo won the Gold Medal at the VIII International Moscow Competition, becoming the youngest dancer to receive this award in the competition's history. In 1998, he was invited to join the ABT Studio Company, and in 1999, he performed as Bronze Idol in La Bayadere with the American Ballet Theatre in Japan.

Cornejo was promoted to soloist in 2000 and to Principal Dancer in 2003. He has since become one of the greatest stars of the American Ballet Theatre, known for his technical accomplishments and artistic range. Critics have praised his performances, with Joan Acocella calling him "the most technically accomplished male ballet dancer in the United States" and Claudia La Rocco describing him as "a believable, 21st-century hero."

Throughout his career, Cornejo has received numerous awards and honors, including the UNESCO Messenger of Peace award, the New York Times' "Dancer of the Year" award, and the Benois de la Danse award.
